 This beautiful soft leather BUCKSKINcovered bow measures 46" – it is decorated with Seed Bead Work,Feathers and Braided Buck Skin Leather. The flint tipped arrows measure26" in length – feathers and tips are attached to the shaft withartificial sinew. Genuine leather fringes connect beads, and largefeathers to both ends of the bow. A buckskin handle has been includedfor an easy display. A magnificent show piece for your collectiblewall. Beautiful bead work appears on the front of the bow.
Indian warriors gained status not only fromtheir success in battle, but their skills in crafting hunting tools andweapons. Typically Bow woods used are Ash, Black Locust, Black Cherry,Osage Orange, White Oak and Hickory. Arrows were made mostly fromdogwood, yaupon holly, witch hazel and willow because they could besmoothed and straighten easily.
