This is an impressive example of Hopi artistry. This Kachina Doll was made by master Hopi carver Nate Jacob. This traditional, Hopi Indian made Morning Singer Kachina Doll has been captured in an artful pose. This incredible Kachina Doll was made the old fashioned way, hand carved out of genuine cottonwood root. It was masterfully hand painted with traditional designs. The case mask has the traditional morning singer design on the face with individually hand carved wooden feathers. This great Hopi Morning Singer Kachina Doll is 7-3/4" tall (including the wooden base) and 3" wide. Signed by the Hopi artist N. Jacob (Nate Jacob).
