This Hopi Indian Koshari Clown Kachina Doll was made by Milton Howard, Hopi Indian, master Kachina carver. This Hopi Koshari Clown Kachina is superb in detail. The detail is exceptional. From the fine lines of the tassels, the detail in the pueblos to the carving of his knuckles. The time and effort and talent is evident with every stroke of this carver. Milton uses stain to bring out the natural wood grain of the customary cottonwood root, along with paint to enhance and show more detail. He takes the time, with what you can only imagine the patience it must demand, to feature and enhance every tiny detail line, as is the remarkably small lines he carves.
