This sculpture is nine pounds and it was a fifteen pound nugget of genuine Turquoise to begin with. This Turquoise looks to be some old Cananea Turquoise, but we can't be one hundred percent sure about that. This Turquoise Sculpture is a true work of art. It's full of movement with artfully hand made depictions of a buffalo hunt, a stalking wolf, an Indian Chief, a growling Bear, cacti, and a cowboy on horseback. This sculpture has a gorgeous carving on both the front and the back. This incredible nine pound Turquoise sculpture is 15-3/4" wide and 7-3/4" tall.

In Indian folklore it is said that there was once a chief with turquoise colored skin. One day he was running from his enemies in the hot desert. Whenever he stopped to rest, his perspiration ran onto the ground, collected in rocks and became turquoise.
